Got to the mtr to meet Toni at around 5 (she was late! ahah u tkd me to add that) and we went to Wanchai and we didnt really know where the Convention Center was so we decided to follow a guy infront of us who was wearing a Linkin Park t-shirt *lol* We finally got there and dumped all our stuff in a locker and took our m&g stuff up. When we got up to hall 2 we saw loadsa m&g ppl and other people who came to see the show. We met up with these other LPU members called Jess and Carol and they were lining up since 2 something (while we were still at school) Everyone around us was so nervous, this girl said she puked already, and I saw loadsa ppl with guitars and cards and shit so I was like whoa...die hard LP fans =) We were all testing our cameras, making sure there wasnt any flash, then the security people led us into this deserted carpark kinda area (saw this guy who got his shirt signed by chaz/mike earlier...) where we waited for like an hour! the m&g was suppoused to be at 7.15 but turned out to be at like 8.15. Finally they opended these two huge greyish doors at the far end of the room and we were all led inside another area (which looked kinda like a hospital/kitchen) where we were lined up and then a security guard started to let us in finally in 4's so I went with Toni/Carol/Jess and I was freaking first! thanks so much -_- lol..and carol got joe a froggie! so cute..(haha i kinda drew a tadpole for joe in his letter..but it kinda looks like a sperm instead -_-..LOL..and we also got britney pics fro brad..but i dunno if he still likes her =P I thought Brad would be sitting on the first seat, and when I was finally let in I saw Mike there! and started to get so freaked! then suddenly another security guard was like 'do you have anything you want signed?' and I handed him my reanimation cover and he placed it on the table where they passed it along. When I got up to Mike it was like he couldent really hear me when i asked him to shake his hand, but then he stuck out his hand so I was so happy =) and I took a pic of him, and he actually looked up! Next was Phi but he was too busy talking to people so I just gave him the letter I wrote for him and Rob (sitting next to him) had to say 'hey shes giving you something' so then he said thanks =) and I 'think' I had time to take a pic of both of them but then I was kinda shoved along. Next was Brad and Joe who again I only gave letters and took a pic or too (but at least they both said thanks) hehe* and finally chester! when I got up to him he was like 'Hi' and smiled so I said hi back and then as I was handing him a letter the freakin security guards were like 'ok is your item that they signed out yet?' and i said i dunno so they said 'well youll have to leave now and pick it up' and they kinda shoved me outa the room (WTF) so I cldnt shake hands with Chester or take a pic of him =( but like...I SHOOK HANDS WITH MIKE!!! ahaha and gave em' all a letter and stuff so im really happy already
When we got out there were like some complications with our stuff that was signed, and the security guards finally found them, so we ran to the concert hall which took so long cuz we had to go through this huge room, so we ran and what sucked was that the people took our tickets! and instead gave us this 'purple' wristband wtf and they said it was SO beautiful -__-" when we got in the hall it was so dark and there were loadsa ppl inside already. I looked at the mosh area and it was so crowded up front so I was really pissed cuz I wanted to get right at teh front! so we started to push in, but finally some people didnt let us through so we sood with like 5-6 rows of people infront of us which was pretty good cuz I could see the stage really clearly, and when we saw the 'tecnitians' walking on stage we could actually see their faces so I was like 'YES' that means we can see LP! ahah* finally an announcer guy came onstage and said 'lets give a big hand for PIA' (which was the opening act, a korean band who we missed cuz of the m&g's, wanted to be there for the whole thing but didnt matter we missed that) then he said...'who do you want?' or something so everyone started chanting 'Linkin Park!, Linkin Park!' which really got the atmosphere going =) finally this really big Linkin Park banner in the background started comming down really slowly...and more technichian people came onstage and started testing equiptment which was really funny cuz when this guy in a hat came on and started banging on the drums in the background people thought it wsa Rob and started screaming so badly but in the end he left (so obviously it wasnt) ok...so the announcer gave us some 'bad' news saying that there would be no moshing going on after all. Then after quite a long wait we saw Joe and Rob come on stage and then Phi and Brad pick up their guitars and then finally Mike and Chaz! and Mike was so cute! he was like 'Doh-Jie' Hong Kong (tried to say thankyou in Canto) haha* =) and everyone at this point was like going really hyper (like me, kekeke) Their first song was really good! like you know when they start playing a bit, then they stopped, then they started the d.j-ing bit again, and then stopped and then finally it all started! I think the first song was dont stay? I seriously forgot I was so fucking LOUD and AMAZING! ahah* I know they played 'Somewhere I Belong', 'Faint', 'A Place For My Head', 'Numb' - where mike played the piano =P and 'Lying From You' Mike started this song on the piano/keyboard cldnt really see, and then progressed to Numb,(by the way in between all of this i was constanly getting bashed on the head and fallen on...well not that seriously but it was so fucking annoying..lol and all these other people some older and some younger were like 'omg mike you so hot' argh..i bet you they dont even know his last name or something..ahah anyways that was annoying, especially when i was like 'whoohoo' some one said 'shut-up geez' argh..stupid teenie thing..and oooh yeah these 2 guys from my school who were infront of us let me go infront of them 'thanks!' cuz i was like really far behind and near the middle i got to be like RIGHT infront..practially ONE person infront of me..who erm took her shirt off later..NO she had something on -_-" ok so THANKS again to those guys if they actually c this..argh* and also this *girl* kept on bumping into me and flicking her extremely LONG hair around into SOME peoples faces *ick* and kept saying 'FUCK ME MIKE' and shit like that...so i was like wtf..and later on she was like on the floor! so everyone was trying to pick her up..but she was like brushing us off and saying 'ARGH MY CAMERA' *whine whine* so we just left her..and she freakin started to pick up peoples FEET! omg what if she tripped someone over -_-" ooh yeah the 'guards' were also handing out water to us...thats the gd thing about being in the front..argh later on we fnd out the water was from buckets that they just dunked the cups into >< GOD u shld have seen the place after the show..so many white cups littering the place, they also played 'Step-Up' abd Mike was like 'this is a song you are only likely to find online, so if you know the words help us out ok?' and I like heard a huge 'OK' haha* and hes like 'this is what we want you to do, who can rock a rhyme like this? and then you say like this after ok?' so we all got it, cuz I think loadsa people probably downloaded the Linkin Park Rock AM Ring thing. Ooh yeah and b4 all this The 'announcer guy' also said 'if anyone falls down in the pit you pick them up!' i was so looking forward to mike saying that =( anyways what else did they sing? ooh yeah 'Its Going Down' and a song by Nine Inch Nails - Wish was so fucking Gooood! ahah* ooh they also played 'Breaking The Habbit' and 'One step closer'. Cant really remember the rest..ooh and they also did papercut i think -_- actually I think thats it cuz it was only for like a bit over an hour >< arggh* SO FREAKIN happy when Chester stood on the amp and looked down into the audience
Near the end the concert Mike started to throw water into the audience and then he threw the water bottle into the audience and the caps! he like did 3 or 4 of those! omg I got some of Mikes water thrown on me! ahaha* and then Rob started throwing a bunch of 'drumsticks'into the audience! argh the girl infront of me caught one! ahaha* and phi also threw a few picks...(so did brad but he wasnt on our side of the pit)and Chaz and Joe wiped their 'sweat' on some towels and trew that at us too! sigh* didnt catch any stuff but after the concert (ppl were already leaving) we stayed behind and were like to the security ppl 'can you hand us anything, ANYTHING and they handed these guys on either side of us some pieces of paper that were stuck onto the stage earlier so we were like...please please ANYTHING! so then they were like...ok what about their socks? so i was like OMG FUCK YEAH! their socks! were not leaving till we get their socks! =) waakakak but in the end the guy found another of phi's picks and...gave it to me! ahah feel so special =) ooh and i found another pic on the floor which looked like it cldve been from one of them cuz it was really scratched and 'used' so then...yeah (gave to toni) hehe* so we finally had to go since the security ppl were shoo-ing us away yet again >< ooh and we saw MARK the Lp newscaster guy? and he was like HI and we were like HI and I was like 'haha LOOK i got a pick of phoenix's!' and he said..'haha then ur lucky' haha he talked to me >< kekeke* and on our way down to the lockers we saw a big loda ppl lining up for LP MERCH! so we flew down the escalator and by the time we got there there were only 'girls' long sleve tshirts left (really girly and sparkly) haha* but toni bought it in the end (rip off) *rolls eyes* finally we got to the lockers and took all our stuff out (had to ask for some change, these nice ppl helped us out) THANK YOUUUU!! and i just realized that we didnt need lockers cuz they supplied plastic bags where we cld have kept our stuff >< damn..oh well..Carol (carolyip) said that she took like almost 100 freakin photos!! we finally got to the mtr, where we saw a few 'fellow' LP concerter's like sitting infront of us, and then we saw this LPU person 'sorry dont rememebr your name' and toni 'retard' asked if she cld take a random pic of her...anyways..she got to shake ALL their hands >< bleh* - got home and just kinda thought 'omg...this actually happened' u know im still in kinda a shock right now o.O lol* ok i think i definately wrote too fucking much this time... =)
